Co curricular Activities
CCA is regarded as an integral part of school life in Dunman High School. Through participation in CCA, we hope to develop in our students a sound body, a disciplined mind, outstanding character, leadership qualities and sportsmanship. Our CCA programme places great emphasis in developing a variety of skills, inculcating in our students the correct values and desirable social attitudes, and providing healthy recreation and enjoyment. Provision is also made for the training of the talented. At Senior High, students will be given greater room to propose and run their own CCAs so as to encourage them to take greater ownership over CCA, follow their passions and build camaraderie.
The Dunman High CCA Framework

Senior High
The Senior High CCAs have been designed to provide opportunities for students to discover their interests and pursue their passions and to develop new peaks of excellence at Senior High, whether by continuing in the same CCA or joining a new CCA. Hence, at the end of Year 4, students could choose to join a new CCA or remain in their current CCA to further develop their areas of talent or leadership abilities. There are also opportunities for students to pursue Interest Groups.
The Senior High CCA programme comprises school-based CCAs and student-driven activities:
1) Core CCAs are designated by the school as key CCAs because they are either niche areas of excellence in Junior High, which we want to continue in Senior High, or new areas that appeal to youths, where the seniors can lead in promoting excellence in those areas
2) Student-Initiated Interest Groups (SIGs) refer to group-based activities which do not have the critical mass or a clear 30-week plan. Students may proceed with the activity on a project or ad-hoc basis. All IGs must be registered with the CCA Department and approval must be granted before events/ programmes/ activities can be carried out.
